General Daily Prayer.
Gracious Father,
We thank you for the love that binds us together in marriage.
Help us, Father, to emulate the selfless love Christ showed for the church in our relationship.
Teach us to be patient, kind, and respectful towards each other. May we always seek unity and harmony, putting on love as the foundation of our marriage.
Bless our words and actions with your wisdom and understanding. Grant us the strength to forgive and the humility to seek forgiveness when we err. Let your love flow through us, guiding us in every decision and circumstance that we face together.
Father, help us to cherish and honor one another, and to build a home filled with your presence and peace. May our marriage be a testament to your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer against Temptation.
Father, we pray for protection against temptation and we speak a shield against anything that would attempt to lure us away from what You command as a Holy union.
Remove unholy and unnatural desires from us. Increase our desire for our spouse.
Remove the desire of another person from us, in Jesus' name. Let it be so!

Prayer to Tell the Truth.
Father, help us to be honest at all times.
We pray for the strength to tell the truth to our spouse; at all times, even when things are difficult. We pray that we glorify You with the words that come out of our mouths, in Jesus' name. Let it be so!
Prayer to Be a Team.
Father, help us to be an unstoppable force as it pertains to standing on Your Word and for Your truth.
We are a Team. Help us to remember in times of difficulty that we are a team. Help us to run to You and to each other when challenges show up, in Jesus' name. Let it be so!
Prayer to Follow God's Order.
Father, help us to keep You first in our individual and collective lives.
Help us to remember that no other person comes before our spouse.
Expose, reveal and remove anyone that is not right for our lives and our marriage.
Give us courage to protect Your order in our marriage and in our home and help us to keep people in their proper place, in Jesus' name. Let it be so!
Prayer to Make & Keep Jesus the Center.
Father, help us to build our Marriage on the truth of Your Word regardless of any new standards from worldly perspectives. Fix our eyes solely on what pleases You. Help us to keep You as our Center and to come back to You in every decision that we make and in everything that we do and say, in Jesus' name. Let it be so!
Prayer to Be Respectful.
Father, we pray that we never dishonor each other... that we never embarrass one another. Help us to remember in times when we feel frustrated or angry to not confront one another in front of others.
Help us to restrain our flesh and reserve sacred matters for intimate moments. We will not call each other outside of our names. We will not scream to make our point, damage property or lay our hands on our spouse. We will always speak well and honor one another, in Jesus' name. Let it be so!

Scriptures:
Ephesians 5:25-33 (NIV)
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her... Each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

â€â€1 Peter‬ â€3‬:â€1‬-â€4‬ â€KJV‬‬
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Colossians 3:14 (NIV):
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV):
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
