Heart Focus 2:
Day 9: "My Focal Point"
Hebrews 12:2 AMP
"[looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]."
Day 9 Prayer
I pray for my ability to focus.
Help me to focus, specifically, on You. Give me grace for the people and things that
try to rob my focus. Help me to reclaim stolen time, once given to futile matters
that really do not matter for me.
I pray for the discernment to detect distractions, baits, setups and pitfalls.
Help me to set my eyes, like a flint on Jesus.
Help me to see Him and His sacrifice for me.
I pray that my ears automatically reject nonsense... that it doesn't even travel through my ear canal... doesn't even enter into my thoughts. I pray for my eyes to become scrutinizing and selective... I pray that they automatically remove distracting things that used to capture my attention. I pray that I give foolishness none of my focus.
Father, thank You for giving me Jesus. I WILL LOOK TO HIM. He will be my focal point at all times. I set my joy on knowing that I will see Him,
In Jesus' name. Amen.
Seeing Differently Confession:
My spiritual eyes are open to see good things.
I attract light because light lives within me.
I expect to see and receive the promises of God because I am a Believer and I believe His Word.
I know that what God has promised me is true.
The core of who I am is changing to look like God's original design for my life. I resemble His nature. Therefore, I have the power to speak His Word and see His Word manifest before my very eyes.
My spiritual eyes see light and bring healing. My natural eyes align to their view.
God's light illuminates throughout my body and brings restoration and hope to every part of me.
In Jesus’ Name.
