Week 1 Focus : Uncovered Hurts

Day 2: "Naked and unashamed"

Scripture: Psalm 139:23-24 AMP

"Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart; Test me and know my anxious thoughts;

24 And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way."

Day 2 Prayer

Father, Your created man and woman to stand before You unashamed.

You desire there to be nothing between You and Your creation. As I seek Your direction on this journey to heal my heart, I see the necessity to remove whatever is in me that would cause me to hide from You. Help me to release pride and to see clearly the plot of the enemy to keep me from You.

I don't want to walk aimlessly. I don't want to follow the ways of others who are also getting it wrong. Lead me to Your everlasting way. Help me to let go of the heavy baggage of unresolved hurt and pain that is keeping me from Your path or slowing me down.

I pray for Your freedom to invade my heart and to shift my nature from hiding parts of me from You, to choosing to stand before You; ready for inspection, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Uncovered Confession:

I am not defined by the hurts that have been done to me.

I'm uncovered before God.

I see myself giving God every wrong that was given to me and I see Him taking them all.

I declare that everything that was meant to reduce me will only increase me.

I release the offense.

I release the sting.

I do not harbor in regret.

I declare that my heart is pure... It is wiped clean of fear... it is liberated from debilitating emotions.

I am a New Creature. I walk in Love. I manifest Healing.

I manifest Healing!

In Jesus’ Name.
